Vermeer Corporation’s directors created its first foundation in 1958 and continues
it’s giving today through the Vermeer Charitable Foundation (VCF),
which has become a major contributor in local communities. It has donated
millions of dollars to churches, colleges, the area schools, library,
hospital, nursing homes, recreational facilities and much more. It has
given 20 to 35 scholarships annually for the past two decades to children
of Vermeer employees as well as several scholarships directed to students
pursuing agricultural careers.
