| Overlapping independent cutterbars follow varying contours for tight cutting and cutterbar protection. | Both the TM1200 and TM1400 fold down to 8' 6" wide to quickly and easily maneuver through gates and travel from field to field. Swivel gearbox design accommodates both Cat 2 or 3N hitches. | A simple flotation gauge and knob at the front of the tongue lets you set and measure the amount of flotation. |

| A unique, patent-pending flotation/hydraulic design reduces cutterbar weight on the ground. And, because it has the ability to float up and over unforeseen field obstacles, the TM1200/TM1400 is better able to avoid or absorb high-impact shock loads. | Vermeer Quick-Clip® Blade Retention System - a Vermeer exclusive - allows you to replace or reverse blades in seconds with the Quick-Clips and a special changing tool that comes with the mower. |

| The TM1200 and TM1400 feature segmented hex-shaped drive shafts and are equipped with a total of twelve self-contained cutting units mounted on the independent cutterbars. Each cutting unit is self-contained and sealed with its own set of gears, bearings and lubricant for easy maintenance and servicing; also critical if operating for extended periods of time on hills and slopes. | Hydraulic cutterbar pitch control (0 to 6°) sets the cutting height (from 1.25" to 3"), helps eliminate streaking and allows operator to adjust for different crops and conditions without tools. |
