Stress free unplugging. With a suspended and flexible mounting that enables the floor to shift up and down slightly to allow uneven swaths to pass through. This minimizes blockages in the rotor and it makes it easy to access blades when changing or adjusting cutting knife configurations. Even if a plug were to occur, you rarely have to leave the tractor because with the HYDROFLEX feed floor controller, you can open the throat floor - up as much as 17" - allowing the plug to pass by the rotor to enter the bale chamber and minimize crop loss. |

A wide 4-bar pickup (73") features
ball bearing guided tine bars with bolted crank arms. Special sealed and grooved ball bearings reduce hp requirements and exceed the service life of normal bearings. A rugged, heavy-built rotor that helps force feed forage into the bale chamber. A radial pin clutch protects the pickup. Rotor moves hay from pickup into bale chamber. |

Extra long knives reach deep into the ring zone of the rotor to help improve material flow and the quality of cut. The optional XtraCut17 System increases bale density, accelerates fermentation, improves structure for better quality silage and digestibility, especially important for ruminants. Plus, with the E-LINK controller, you can select three different cutting knife patterns – a full 17 blade configuration ... or 9 and 8-knife arrangements which are beneficial when re-grinding. Blades are easy to remove and protected against overload with the Hydroflex control. |
