A Vermeer® Advantage!
Torsion-Flex Drive System helps absorb the shock of high impacts in the vertical drive shaft. More protection for the cutting unit gears and hex shaft. Each cutting unit is sealed with its own lubricating grease... critical when operating in hilly conditions. |
4-band V-Belt drives conditioner for
more protection for the drive system.
|
Double wide skids eliminate
pinch points where rocks can create cutter bar problems. Directional
material flow - outer two discs turn inward to help direct
material into the conditioner. Thin profile cutterbar cross-section
lets you cut closer than ever before.

Steel Conditioner Rollers.
Vermeer uses only steel conditioner rollers.
The reason? These heavy-duty rollers are designed to go the distance.
They handle everything from gentle crimping to agressive crushing for cane-type crops.
Curved, steel cleats, about 1-1/8"
high, are mounted to the rollers. Spacing is easy to adjust for different conditioning needs. |
Simple, Easy Adjustments for...
- Cutterbar angle; hydraulic and adjustable on-the-go - Cutterbar height - two positions - Spring tension for DynaGurad suspension - Roller spacing, timing and pressure - Crop forming side shields and hood |
Unique front cover design
features pivoting front panels which swing to the center from both ends.
Gives you excellent cutter bar access, which is difficult to achieve on center pivot machines.
